Upon making the delivery, he was betrayed by Rian Darok and Darth Arkous and the Selkath scientist Gorima imprisoned the Wookiee with the intention of experiment on him later. Their attempt was turned back by Satele Shan and Darth Marr discovering the traitors and ending in a temporary cease fire and tracking Revan to Yavin 4. Their efforts led them to information that showed that millions of both Republic and Imperial troops were, in truth, aligned with the Order of Revan, and had called both fleets to Rishi with the hopes of having them tear each other apart. The three of them, along with Jakarro and C2-D4, managed to foil Revan's plans to turn different pirate gangs on hyperspace routes. Learning that the same thing had happened to Shan, the two of them went into hiding on Rishi and eventually contacted their ally who had helped with their previous campaigns. After news of Arkous' death reached the rest of the Empire, Beniko learned that a price had been placed on her head, preventing her from returning. After their deaths, Revan himself appeared in hologram, confirming that Arkous and Darok were part of the same cult that also operated on Dromund Kaas. They raided the lab on a Selkath geneticist who was constructing cyborgs and shipping them to Darok and Arkous. Both were able to collect enough data and evidence to insinuate that the two were working together. When the Republic subsequently responded with their own attack on Korriban, Beniko revealed to their ally that Arkous' true motive for attacking Tython was to retrieve an artifact. The two of them, along with another Imperial-allied contact, successfully coordinated and executed an assault on the Jedi homeworld of Tython. She was eventually transferred to Vaiken Spacedock and became an advisor to Darth Arkous. She responded by attacking him and cutting off his hand.
